Blockley Church is a beautiful building in the heart of Blockley village. Full of human interest and interwoven with the people of this place for more than a thousand years, the church has survived good times and bad, and in the process has been altered, extended and embellished. It is now the home church of Father Brown, a BBC series based on the stories of G K Chesterton. We welcome the cast and crew to carry out the filming every summer. We also welcome the many fans of Father Brown who come especially to see the church. We welcome all visitors – and do call in at our café next door for delicious meals, cakes, coffee and other drinks! A very big thank you to all who support us and enable us to maintain the fabric of this wonderful building.
