Help us buy a defibrillator for Abbotsford
Our Friends' Committee has taken on the challenge of raising £1,000 to buy a defibrillator for Abbotsford this Autumn.
We have been awarded the British Heart Foundation’s Nation of Lifesavers Community Package, which includes a defibrillator and a training kit. We now need to raise £1,000 so that we can access this package, as well as to buy and install a suitable cabinet that can keep the defibrillator ready for use in a public area at Abbotsford.
By having a defibrillator at Abbotsford and by training people in CPR, we hope we can play an important part in saving more lives.
To make a donation towards the defibrillator, simply click on the big red DONATE button at the top of this page.
Or you can donate by text* (SMS) if you prefer:
To donate £3, text SCOTT252 to 70331
To donate £5, text SCOTT252 to 70970
To donate £10, text SCOTT252 to 70191
Did you know... For every minute someone is in cardiac arrest without CPR and access to a defibrillator, their chances of survival drops by up to 10%. Having a public access defibrillator available in an emergency can be life saving.
On behalf of the Friends' Committee, thank you for your support.
