The African Science Academy (ASA) is Africa's first girls-only science and maths school.
Based in Ghana, ASA offers brilliant young women from all over Africa who are passionate about science and technology full scholarships. It provides a world class A-Level programme, covering Maths, Further Maths and Physics alongside Computer Science, personal development and one of the best visiting lecture programmes of any school worldwide.
In the school's first year, 65% of students earned A*-C grades. The school is a pathway to higher education and to future careers in Tech, Engineering and Science. We are creating a supportive and ambitious network of young African women that will persist well beyond their time at the school.
With your help, ASA can become an example of excellence for teaching STEM subjects in Africa and beyond, and provide a model for education that can be replicated throughout the continent.
