Our magnificent building has been standing for over 200 years - a shining beacon for the community at the heart of the city. We are home to thousands of your treasured memories. Remember the awe you felt dancing to your favourite band in such a grand yet intimate space? Perhaps you were one of the lucky ones to see David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust tour or watch ABBA win Eurovision live on TV broadcast from our stage? Or maybe you shed a tear when your child first performed on our stage for a classical concert, or when they nailed their Let’s Dance routine?
Whatever your connection with us, we want to carry on being part of your memories and inspiring the next generation of artists and musicians. We know we need to fight hard to stay here for our community for the next 200 years because we will need the arts more than ever when we come out of this crisis together
As a charity, 65% of our income disappeared overnight through the loss of ticket sales and hosting events. So. if you can, it would make a huge difference if you would consider making a donation to help secure our future. And if you are able to add Gift Aid, your donation will increase by 25% at no cost to you.
