At BACT, we try to maximise all aspects of the participant’s journey, to allow programmes to continue to grow organically and make a greater impact on the local, regional and national agenda.
Our 20-21 Strategy will outline how BACT will deliver on its ongoing mission to “make a difference to our communities through the power of sport and the brand of Burton Albion Football Club”.
The strategy document was produced after extensive consultation with funders, partners, stakeholders and BACT staff and sets out how BACT will deliver on its promise to ‘Inspire, Engage and Educate’. The strategy Is deliberately more reactive for the next 12 months to enable BACT to deliver projects that meet community needs as we move through this Pandemic period.

The number of participants in all our activities continues to increase and there can be no doubt we continue to make a considerable impact on lives of the communities we serve.
We continue to make progress with our engagement in the fields of Education, Employment, Health and Wellbeing, Literacy and Numeracy and community relations. As is clearly demonstrated in this report.
We have recently introduced Active Recovery, empowered by Macmillan, aimed at bringing relief to those living with or beyond cancer. This has been extremely well received and is already oversubscribed.
Through delivering high quality and our passion for making a difference we continue to serve our community and work closely with so many organisations including Local Authorities, the Police and Crime commissioner, Parish Councils, Local Councillors, Queens Hospitals, Schools, various third sector partners the English Football League Trust and Premier League Charitable Fund.
