Derby Museums is a charitable Trust which looks after 3 unique Museums. We aim to engage and inspire locally and nationally, whilst caring for our cultural heritage.
Derby Museums look after three free access museums in Derby city. The Museum and Art Gallery Home of Joseph Wright, the Silk Mill, the site of the world’s first factory and soon to be developed into our Museum of Making, and the beautiful Pickford house, home to the architect Joseph Pickford.
Derby Museums aim to inspire, engage and work with communities both locally and nationally, whilst continuing to care for our amazing collections. We believe everyone should be able to engage with the museums, so we are proud to offer a range of free activities at the museum, as well as free entry at all our sites.
Thank you for helping to keep Derby Museums fantastic and free for everyone.
