Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art

Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art

London

The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art is the finest collection of early 20th century Italian art in the UK.

The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art opened in London in 1998. It is housed in a Grade II listed Georgian building with six galleries, an art library, cafe and bookshop. The Collection is known internationally for its core of Futurist works, as well as figurative art and sculpture dating from 1890 to 1950s. An important venue for bringing Italian art to the British public, it has achieved both public and critical acclaim for its artistic and educational programmes. Its exhibition programme ranges from those devoted to Italian Futurists to shows addressing social and political dimensions of artistic activity. Despite its national significance the Estorick Collection receives no public subsidy and is a registered charity.
