Established in 1978, Ffotogallery is the national development agency for photography and lens-based media in Wales.

We play a key role in developing photographic culture through commissioning and presenting new work, supporting emerging artists and pioneering education and outreach work.

We work with a range of media to present the contemporary image in a context of critical and historical debate. Our digital development programme Vision On explores how artists and audiences engage with emergent technologies, creating new spaces for exhibition, learning and participation.

The 2013 launch of Diffusion, the biennial Cardiff International Festival of Photography, reflects our commitment to excellence and creativity and marks an exciting phase in our development.
