Glyndebourne

South West

GLYNDEBOURNE IS AN OPERA HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE SUSSEX COUNTRYSIDE.

It all began with a love story in 1934, when founder John Christie met soprano Audrey Mildmay. Glyndebourne is now one of the finest and most celebrated opera houses in the world, delivering performances to some 150,000 people across a summer Festival and an autumn Tour. Glyndebourne is facing a devastating impact due to the loss of performances. For our artists and seasonal staff these cancellations mean the loss of their livelihoods. We rely on 95% ticket sales to support our artists, staff and to subsidise our Tour and Education Programmes. Please help support our staff and secure Glyndebourne’s future by donating to our COVID-19 emergency appeal.
