We're making an impact but we need your support!
Head2Head Sensory Theatre have finally found a uniquely designed base in Oxted, Surrey, from which to produce their ground-breaking work. This will provide an innovative, arts-focussed learning space and life skills arena for students transitioning from special school education.
Head2Head Founder Anni Rhodes-Steere said:
Since 2006 Head2Head Sensory Theatre has been at the forefront in creating inclusive theatre opportunities for children and young people with a wide range of disabilities. Our unique projects encourage participants and their families to take risks by working in small groups of peers and with neurotypical siblings to increase confidence and widen social interaction and skills.
As a response to the COVID 19 lockdowns, our artistic team has been creating online, accessible and interactive shows and games for families in isolation. This has meant that it has now become a valuable resource for a whole new audience, not only across the UK but also around the world.
The new building will be based in Oxted, Surrey but we can’t fund this new building by ourselves. We need the support from communities to help raise £122,500 to make this dream a reality.
Can you help us realise this dream so that we can continue to introduce generations of disabled children and their families to the joy and creativity of the world of theatre?
Any donation, however small or large, will help us reach our goal.
