Meet Emma & Cleo, two beautiful Jack Russell Terrier girls who we believe have never known the feeling of being part of a loving family. But they have been family to each other, these two little ladies are the very best of friends, spending all their time together and relying heavily on one another.
But Emma is in desperate need of help. Upon arrival at the Nottinghamshire centre, it became apparent that Emma had multiple hard mammary lumps, on both sides of her body. She was booked in at the vets for urgent investigation and it was confirmed that surgery would be the best path for her. Emma is 13 years old (though still very young at heart), so we underwent extensive testing to ensure she was in good enough general health to handle the surgery and recovery, our experienced vets are confident she will do well and has much more life to live with her best friend. Other than her tumours, she is in great condition for her age.
Cleo’s wellbeing is naturally a huge factor in all decisions around Emma’s health, these girls love each other so much and we think Cleo would be bereft without her companion, and would find settling into a new home all the more difficult. All these factors combined mean we just have to give Emma this chance at a second lease of life, for her, and for Cleo. The surgery comes at a significant financial cost, and so we ask you once again to help, could you spare a few pounds to help get Emma & Cleo on the road to the life they deserve, a life of happiness, together, with their very best friend. We know times are tough for all of us, but a little, given by many, can go a very long way. Your donation will help us to be there not just for Emma & Cleo, but for all the dogs just like them, who find themselves needing a little extra help.
