Please help Romeo skip into his senior years pain free!
Everyone meet Romeo. Romeo is a gorgeous 11 year old Yorkshire Terrier, who should be enjoying his retirement years in his forever home, but he has found himself in our care through no fault of his own. Romeo is a lovely little man, with quite the character, but right now he can’t live life to the full as he should. Romeo has a luxating patella, this means that his knee cap pops in and out of socket regularly as he walks. This causes Romeo quite a lot of soreness, and means he can’t get the exercise he needs without discomfort, this is made an even bigger issue for Romeo as he is quite overweight, and needs to lose some pounds to take the pressure off his senior joints. But he can’t do that without exercise.
To give Romeo the best chance at future happiness, he needs expensive surgery, and as our vet has assured us there’s no reason why he won’t live many more happy years once it is done, we simply have to give him that chance. This is a huge pressure for us financially, and we hope you will help us to support Romeo, as you have done with so many of our wonderful dogs in the past. Please give generously to help us give Romeo the happy retirement he deserves.
