In the face of what could be large scale disruption Jerry Green Dog Rescue wants to reassure all of our supporters that our top priority is as always to care for our rescue dogs, the team here have been working tirelessly to ensure we have plans in place to enable our vital services to continue in what looks like unsettling times
Each day in kennels a highly skilled team provide training, comfort and care to our dogs, who without Jerry Green Dog Rescue would find themselves alone. It is our main priority to put systems in place to ensure this does not falter despite any eventuality.
Our centres receive little to no government funding, at Jerry Green Dog Rescue we rely heavily on our Supporter Care team fundraising in the community to pay for our vet bills, feed bills and simple things like toys and well-fitting collars and harnesses. With the government contemplating the closure of large events and stricter measures to control the current pandemic, we are facing a situation where our team may not be able to raise vital funds for our dogs.
We know in these difficult times you may be facing worries of your own, however we have to ask. Could you make a donation towards our dogs, as little as £1, can help relieve the worry and allow the team to do what they do best, and continue to provide life changing care here at Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
Unfortunately as the country comes together, dogs will still face abandonment and cruelty, families will struggle to provide the care and support their beloved pet needs and bring them to us as their last resort, individuals needing medical care services may have no friends or family to look after their best friend, we are often the last chance some of our dogs have and today more than ever we need your help to make sure the charity is safe and can continue to do what we have been doing since 1961.
