Micah is a vibrant contemporary church in South East London with a passion to see people’s whole lives transformed by the power and love of Christ.

When Denis and Lorna Wade started Micah Community Church in 1998 they brought a fresh take on ‘doing church’. Their approach stemmed from both their deep desire to impact the lives of young people and their background in the UK gospel music and creative industries. Today, they have the same approach to creatively bringing the redemptive message of the gospel into the everyday lives of people of all ages and emboldening them to do the same.

Our vision is to raise up a community of people who understand who they are in Christ, their purpose in life and their potential to impact the world. We draw alongside people, at whatever stage they’re at, and inspire, equip and empower them to take the next step in their journey with Christ. And we keep on doing this, applying the truth of God’s word and drawing on the power of the Holy Spirit - whether it's in their relationships, issues of identity, finances, or health.
