Thank you so much for your support!
MindFood helps to reconnect people with nature to help tackle anxiety and depression - we teach food-growing and other nature-based activities, and share simple evidence-based tips and techniques to improve wellbeing. We offer a safe non-judgemental space, a world away from the pressures of everyday life, and help participants find practical support for the difficulties they find overwhelming. We do all this for free, so we can help people who need us most.
MindFood’s ultimate goal is that people with mental health issues in Ealing and surrounding boroughs are equipped with the tools, resources and social connections to recover and to be able to proactively nurture their wellbeing to stay well and minimise chances of relapsing. Our focus is on nature-based activities because our experience has shown us that nature is the perfect setting to settle anxious minds to be able to open up to practising evidence-based self-care tools such as mindfulness. Our approach is backed up by extensive ecotherapy research by Mind, that spending time in nature helps with mental health recovery
