We are here to support everyone in Scotland affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND), campaign to make their voices heard and to find a cureMND is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. This may cause someone to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink or breathe unaided. There is currently no cure or effective treatment, and the average life expectancy from diagnosis is just 20 months. We are here to find a cure, and to deliver and transform care. We provide practical, emotional and financial support to those affected in Scotland, and fund ground-breaking research across the UK. We campaign and raise awareness to make the lives of people affected better, and provide hope for a world without MND.
