Next Meal harnesses technology to direct homeless people to centres providing food, help and support.
Next Meal harnesses GPS technology in smartphones to direct homeless and needy people to centres providing food, help and support. It allows vulnerable people to easily find the support they need.
The service is increasingly used by health professionals, the police and national and local government to direct homeless people to the services they need as well as offering the general public an alternative to giving food or money.
By building up a database of centres around the UK, Next Meal is also providing support for the centres themselves – sharing best practice, resources and collecting data to inform policy and debate on homelessness.
