London is a wonderful city. It can feel like a non-stop party. Trends such have globalisation, digitisation and gentrification have rapidly changed the city. Some of these changes can be fun – a new restaurant to try out or pop-up bar to visit.
But these same changes can be isolating and disconcerting – particularly for some of our older neighbours who have lived in London for 60, 70 or 80 years and don't feel part of the change. They instead feel 'left behind'.
That's why North London Cares brings older and younger neighbours together to share time, company, laughter, conversation and ultimately, friendship.
On the evening of Saturday 10th June, we hope to raise £10,000 to help welcome 500 new older neighbours to North London Cares.
