The Story So Far Coventry is a city of 350,000 people, a relatively young city that is getting younger. 50,000 students attend the two universities - and the number is growing. The Bishop of Coventry approached Holy Trinity Brompton to discuss the possibility of creating a "City Centre Resource Church" specifically to reach out to the young people and students in the area. The church grew rapidly from from a planting team of 40 people. We now run 2 gatherings on a Sunday, we have programs for Kids, Youth & Students, as well as, Connect Groups that run mid-week. Our vision is to see the evangelisation and transformation of the city. We run Alpha each term to provide space for people to ask the big questions of life as well as Invite 1 events throughout the year. We are beginning to partner with various local charities to help play our part in the social transformation of Coventry including Embrace and Carriers of Hope. And.. we’re just getting started.
