Nineteen years ago I reached a point where I realised I needed help; I was unable to continue drinking but unable to stop drinking. I picked up the phone to the Health Support Programme run by the RPSGB Benevolent Fund (now Pharmacist Support) and started a train of events that totally changed my life. There have been so many amazing things happen as a result of that phone call, not least a successful career in Pharmacy which, I like to believe, has benefitted many others apart from myself.
