For the very first time, we are delighted to be able to offer a Cockpit Tour of the Shuttleworth Collection. You will have the unique chance to sit in a number of the aircraft, from our WW1 Rotaries, through: 1920’s Gentlemen’s Carriages; our beloved 1930’s Racing Legends; to our WWII warbirds, including the iconic Spitfire. As if all of this wasn’t treat enough, this incredible day will conclude with a 30 min flight in Miles Magister N3788.

Please note: If bidding to purchase as a Christmas present - In order for a gift certificate detailing this lot to arrive with you in time for Christmas (UK mainland only), the winning bid must be paid for, and funds cleared, by noon, Monday 21st December, 2020.
Cockpits shown are for illustrative purposes only. Every effort will be made to give access to the cockpits of as many of the Collection aircraft as is reasonably practicable on the day. You will be accompanied by a Shuttleworth Engineer who will also endeavour to ensure that the aircraft that feature align with your interests. This said, we hope you understand that the engineer will have absolute and final say on which aircraft are suitable for you to actually mount. You must be relatively fit and able to get into and out of the aircraft unaided.
For the Magister flight - Usual flight restrictions apply: You must be relatively fit and able to get into and out of the aircraft unaided. There is a nominal weight limit of 110kg, and a minimum height requirement of 150cm. The flight is subject to the normal caveats of weather and serviceability. It is not transferrable and no alternative will be offered.
