Song in the City Charity Trust

Song in the City Charity Trust

Taking classical music out of its comfort zone, through imaginative concerts, and social projects.

Song in the City programme concerts around imaginative themes, bringing talented singers and pianists to the heart of the Square Mile, in the intimate setting of the Hall, St Botolph without Bishopsgate. We also collaborate regularly with performers from other artistic disciplines. Our FREE concerts take place on Thursdays at 1pm and are designed around a central theme, with a cast of several singers performing . We are also committed to devising social projects, such as ‘Creative Madness in Song’, which is supported by the The Maudsley Charitable Trust, focusing on young composers who will create new songs to texts written by mental-health service users.
