Sophie's Appeal is a volunteer led charity which means that every penny that we receive goes to supporting our aims. Founded in 2003, we became a charity in 2005. We provide week long, self catering breaks at Sophie's Rainbow Retreat. A home from home escape on the shores of Poole harbour where families can escape the worries of everyday life whilst being able to spend quality time as a family. We also offer Sophie’s Surprises. A surprise day out from theatres to theme parks and much more. Often families are unable to get away for longer than a day, particularly when undergoing treatment. A day away is just the ticket. Research – without research without hope. We help to fund specific research into childhood cancers.
