St John on the Wall, Bristol has suffered a major heritage crime attack which has seen lead stolen from its historic archway roof. As a result substantial water damage has been caused to the interior timbers and structure which is likely to cost over £10,000 to repair and conserve. Our first priority is emergency roofing to stop more water getting in and to strengthen roof alarm security systems.

This is heartbreaking. St John on the Wall, and its Crypt, is an important venue for small music events, exhibitions, installations, theatre etc, and it would be tragic to lose such an historic venue.
