The Gifted uses interactive workshops, creative projects, technology and podcasting to the build skills and confidence of children and young people.

The Gifted tackles social exclusion and provides opportunities for children and young people, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. Over the past 12 months, The Gifted has worked with over 2000 young people, providing opportunities, education and support to improve their health and wellbeing, overcome barriers and help them reach their full potential. 51% of those we worked with have low educational attainment, 24% are young offenders, 14% known to be involved in substance misuse, 12% have a mental health issue and 5% have been excluded from school. The Gifted delivers projects at its hub in Waltham Cross, on a detached basis in the community. The Gifted currently operates in Hertfordshire and North London.
