The Platform Project is an innovative development organisation that helps young people gain the skills, confidence and experience they need to build a sustainable future and launch their career. We work closely with local authorities, education institutions and local employers to bridge the gap between education and employment through our unique concept of a 'training workplace', which is an accelerated development environment where young people access real workplace and self-employed experiences through a range of live, structured and practical youth led business projects.
Our nurturing and flexible ethos enables students and young adults to re-engage with structured development by helping them turn their passions into professions and break down any barriers that are preventing them from succeeding. This proven development model is successfully bridging the gap between education and employment by introducing young people to a range of different career skills and youth led business options, creating work ready, capable and confident entry level talent where 89% of participants successfully transition into in further education, paid work or self-employment.
