The Sixteen is incredibly proud to have launched a highly ambitious exploration of the wealth of music composed in Poland during the Renaissance and Baroque eras. I have dedicated time over the past years to discovering these lost treasures and bringing them to the attention of music lovers around the world. Many of the works in the series have never been recorded before.
Thanks to The Sixteen’s reputation, these recordings have so far garnered international interest and acclaim from mainstream ranging from all the UK broadsheets to the New York Times and European press. The series has also been nominated for a number of awards, including a Gramophone Award.
I am looking for support to continue with this important series, and plans are in place to record a fifth disc. We want to ensure that this rich part of Polish culture is commemorated and recorded for posterity, and also exposed to a much wider audience. Please show you support today.
