We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy and learn from the treasures in our collection. We are committed to ensuring that we are accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their age or background.
Our Education Department provides free sessions for schools, catering for children aged 4 to 18; a variety of specially devised sessions for pupils with Special Educational Needs, both at the museum and in schools; those who are D/deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the blind and partially sighted.
If you can’t come to the Wallace Collection, the Wallace Collection can come to you! We are currently running a ‘Loan Box’ project, where reproductions of our paintings and objects are sent to residential care homes and day centres outside London. The project aims to inspire older people and provide those who may no longer be able to visit the museum with an opportunity to enjoy a national collection.
Our Education and Access programmes are only possible thanks to individual donations and the trusts and foundations that generously support us. Please give what you can to help us continue this inspiring work. Thank you.
