War Child provide life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war.
The media coverage of the Syrian refugee crisis has shown the devastating impact of conflict on children. In fact there are now over 2 million children that have fled from Syria in search of safety. They have lost their homes and now they are losing out on their education.
Over 50% of those affected by war are children, yet less than 3% of foreign aid is spent on their protection and education. The international community have become experts at providing food, water and shelter to keep a child alive, but these do not keep a child safe from violence or help them build a better future.
War Child works with local partners to ensure the most vulnerable children have the protection they need and the education they deserve. Through our ‘HELP’ campaign we hope to force to force the international community to prioritise the protection and education of children during conflict. We look forward to a world in which children's lives aren't torn apart by war.
You can help us provide protection and education for more of the worlds most vulnerable children by making a donation.
