Shrewsbury House is a busy community centre that provides spaces and activities for people of all abilities and backgrounds from 0 - 100+.
We feel it is our responsibility to provide a safe space for all who use the House and to provide this we would like to have an onsite, fully automatic defibrillator.
We are hoping to raise £2000 to cover the costs of the unit, the wall mount and spare batteries.

My life was recently threatened because of a serious atrial defibrillation attack when my heart went into free fall. It was only the speed and efficiency of the ambulance paramedics getting me to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich with minutes to spare that I was saved.
