During the current uncertainty created by coronavirus (Covid-19) and in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our visitors, volunteers, staff and our wider community the Holburne Museum has decided to close from 18 March until 1 May 2020.
Whilst we navigate through this time our small team will continue to work behind the scenes, but the challenges we all face are unprecedented. The Holburne is a charity, and we are entirely dependent on commercial income and the support of our visitors to survive. With the loss of all our commercial income we are now in a more vulnerable position.
It is through the generosity of individuals, corporate organisations and trusts and foundations that the Holburne Museum is able to open its doors to thousands of visitors each year.
In a normal year, ticket sales from our visitors and our shop make up almost half of our income. The other half is donated and fundraised thanks to our community, partners and supporters. We receive no public funding.
If you love the Holburne, we ask you to consider supporting in any way you can. A donation, if you are able to make one, will make a difference.
Thank you for considering making a gift today, particularly in these uncertain times.
