'Drumming Against Knives' is the flagship project of the One-Drum Foundation, with the objective to establish African drumming circles in local communities for people of all ages and abilities to come together as one, in particular, vulnerable young people at risk of involvement in gangs and knives.
In Africa, drumming is a community activity that strengthens relationships between generations of families, friends and neighbours, through which stories are told through music, singing and dancing.
One-Drum brings Africa to you and the One-Drum Foundation brings the harmonising enjoyment of traditional African drumming and African drumming rhythms to local communities.
