Never before has it been so important to keep in touch with family and friends. Sadly, many people have faced months of loneliness and social isolation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working hard to keep those people who are socially isolated GET CONNECTED and we want them to STAY CONNECTED….
Thanks to the generosity of o2, we have been able to provide 36 people with mobile devices and access to free data and we now want to continue helping people adapt to the new 'normal' way of life. We want people to ‘Get Connected’ and keep face to face contact with family and friends.
Learning new ways to keep in touch can be difficult for many and we are seeking your support, so that we can make sure everyone adapts to news ways and build confidence in using their digital devices into the future.
We know that across Stockport, many people are currently cut off from their family and friends and even as we find a new 'normal' people will continue to be isolated. Please support us to double the number of people on the project and help even more people learn new skills.
