Applause Rural Touring brings quality arts performances to rural and isolated areas in the south east that have little or no access to the arts.

Applause Rural Touring brings high quality professional arts performances to rural and isolated communities that have very little or no access to the arts in south east England. We build strategic networks of community venues such as village halls, community centres, pubs and festivals to host professional performances of music, dance, theatre and spoken word. Our volunteer promoter infrastructure is critical to the success of the far reaching touring network and engagement with isolated communities. Volunteer promoters act as community advocates at each venue and are trained and supported by us to promote and manage the performances in their community. We are passionate about supporting the development of new artistic touring work, thus providing employment for performers and enhancing the rural economy.
