Attic is an arts organisation based in Mitcham, LB Merton. We commission, produce & deliver projects with & for our local community.

Operate for 25+ years as an arts centre without a building, our work aims to overcome the social, physical or economic barriers our communities face by occupying public & community spaces to bring creativity to them; providing access to & experience of the arts for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity - through circumstance or location & promoting wellbeing through social interaction & participation in enriching, enlightening & enjoyable cultural activities We stage high quality productions which tour to non-traditional spaces as well as established theatres in central London & throughout the UK, site specific, location responsive work & urban touring in partnership with local libraries We also run a year-round Community Creative Engagement Programme for young people facing adversity (low income, SEN, low emotional resilience, unaccompanied minors) & older people at risk of isolation.
