The church of St Mary Magdalene (formerly St Christopher) is thought to be have been a core part of the village for more than 800 Years
The village church has a good deal of history including a medieval wall painting. It is the only community building in the village and is being re-ordered to make it suitable for both religious and secular community events. This involves replacing the pews with chairs, a new heating system, a small kitchenette and a an eco loo in the churchyard.
