I am 52 and have sold Big Issue North for about three years. I live in Liverpool, and came to the UK to better the lives of my family, especially my grandchildren. I’m determined that their lives will be better than mine! I currently don’t speak very good English, so it’s hard for me to get employment anywhere else, but Big Issue North are supporting me with this, and have given me a great pitch in West Derby with great customers. I just work hard each day to survive.
