We need your help this winter to keep our Liverpool Community Hub open, to help those currently experiencing poverty!
Community Voice is a user-led service run by people who have been affected by drug and alcohol use. We work hard to get the voices of these people heard by the appropriate services in Liverpool. We support service users that experience problems with accessing the correct treatments, and train volunteers to be advocates at conferences and service evaluations.
We reach out to you because our community hub in Liverpool has seen a dramatic increase in visitor numbers and we have realised that as we approach the harsh winter, especially with the current climate and increase in costs. This is why I wanted to see if you would be willing to “Sponsor a Day” to keep the community hub open?
How it works:
Liverpool’s Community Hub would be open three days a week with a daily cost of £250.
By sponsoring a day, you would be allowing vulnerable adults, who are experiencing financial difficulties, mental health, homelessness, drug, and alcohol addiction to have a place to go! Your donation would provide basic food and drinks, showers access, opportunity to make essential phone calls, wash and dry clothes, activities, heating, and staff support.
You would be supporting at least 45 individuals each day!
