By joining the Bishopsland programme, early career silversmiths have the best chance of forging a career of their skill and passion. We provide them with bursaries to help with course and accommodation costs, but there is also major outlay on silver and other precious metals.
In 2010 we established the Precious Metal Fund to offset rising metal costs and help young people purchase metal. A gift of £20 buys sufficient silver for a student to make a pendant. £50 will cover the cost of the silver for a spoon. £100 covers the cost of silver required to make a bowl or beaker.
Please give what you can to help support the silversmiths of tomorrow.
Work is also in train on Bishopsland’s long-term future plans; if you’d like more details contact Bishopsland direct.
