Bristol Ensemble are looking to bring more top quality music to the people of Bristol, and to build on the reputation for innovation and excellence that we have established over the last 22 years. We are keen to expand and develop Preludes, and to grow our multi-media and collaborative orchestral work to bring our music in an engaging and exciting way to an increasingly discerning, diverse and cosmopolitan audience. Our core concert activity has (with a few exceptions) always been financially self-supporting, with ticket sales broadly covering costs. However, this does depend on a lean cost structure and a certain amount of voluntary support. To support the Ensemble to effectively grow we are seeking donations to support a range of exciting and innovative projects planned for the future.

For the brilliant Schindler's list accompaniment track that you have on YouTube. I'm using it as a backing track for my violin exam because the tempo was just perfect for what I needed. Please let me know if you feel like the donation isn't enough for the purpose and I'll happily pay more!

Charmed by the Bach concerto and the assured performances of the violinist and pianist playing The Lark Ascending. Thrilled to listen to the live centenary celebration of Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending.

Loved the show tonight; beautiful combination of words, music and nature. Thanks!
Susan & Alan Gillard
We both enjoyed this beautiful recital by Emil he captured the sensitivity of Vaughan Williams' Lark Ascending. We remember with fondness when Emil as a young boy helped serving tea and cakes at Woodchester after a Sunday afternoon concert.

Because the Bristol Ensemble is a local group making great music and engaging warmly with its audience - and because I very much enjoy hearing and seeing that music being made live, and look forward to being able to do so again.
I don't actively want my name to be made public but please do so if it would help you.

We think it's great that The Bristol Ensemble's musicians are taking the trouble during "Lockdown" to entertain us in our homes. Theit efforts and high musical standard has our admiration. We look forward to more!

This is lovely, thank you Emil(s). In fact, I remember you from Cotham School when I used to work there in Performing Arts Department as Community Arts Coordinator. It's so cheering particularly at such a challenging time for us all.
