Church of St Peter, Stanton Lacy

Church of St Peter, Stanton Lacy

West Midlands

The Saxon church of St Peter has been serving the parish of Stanton Lacy since the early 11th century.

A beautifully proportioned cruciform church, St Peter's is one of the few churches mentioned in the Domesday Book. We want to secure its future as a place of worship but also, as part of a developing role, become a hub for wider activity across the local community. It is difficult to do either now without the presence of some basic facilities on site. So, a project has been developed to install a toilet and kitchen. To support this and other urgent repairs to this Grade 1 Listed Building, a major fundraising campaign is underway. By supporting our work you will be ensuring the church remains at the heart of local Anglican worship and becomes a vital resource for the local community.
