With the help of the wonderful people of Anglesey and Gwynedd one refugee family from a UNHCR camp has found sanctuary, a home and new friends.  Their children go to school.  They are learning Welsh and English and their parents are free from the terrible fear for their own future and that of their children.  They spent last Christmas as refugees in Jordan.  We can hardly imagine their experience of flying to the UK and coming to their new home here, but with the ongoing support of the Croeso Menai team they have settled in and are getting on with their new lives.  The UK Government Community Sponsorship Scheme brings together all kinds of people, people like you who would like to do something positive to change the future for a refugee family.  Your donation will help us gather the £9,000 we need to start making arrangements to bring a second family.  If you would like us to give a talk to a group you are involved with, please get in touch.  Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
