Easingwold District Lions have been at the heart of Easingwold and Villages community since 1978 and we have been serving our area ever since.

We are all proud to be part of the largest volunteering organisation in the world – Lions International. With 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members, we can truly be called a global network of people with similar ideas to our own. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need glasses, (we are placing spectacle recycling boxes in local Primary Schools) with the elderly who don’t have enough to eat ( we deliver fish and chips to elderly and infirm people in Easingwold every Saturday) and with people we may never meet at all. Internationally one of the most effective voluntary organisations with member clubs in every area affected by disaster or requiring need. That way clubs can tell us exactly what is needed before the large aid agencies have acted. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities.
