Holistic support for Children & Young People, disengaged with their education, at risk of exclusion or struggling in life, along with their families.

Secondary school students attend ELKOLET’S Alternative Education Provision from over a dozen schools. Besides academia, ELKOLET also aims to identify the root causes which led to the young person finding mainstream education & life a struggle; take reactive steps address, then overcome these causes; build a bridge back to mainstream or employment; implement preventative measures to help reduce the risk of future influence upon their academic, emotional wellbeing and career journeys. ELKOLET’S Family Support Team offers practical help & emotional support to families experiencing various difficulties, through home visits, parenting courses, SEN forums, holiday meals, etc. Supports parents/carers of children aged 4-16 from 17 local schools.
