We are a voluntary charity working with communities across the UK to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis and funds for research.

We are a small voluntary charity set up in 2014 working with communities across the UK to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis and funds for research into a successful treatment for the condition that is being carried out by The UK CF Gene Therapy Consortium. New treatments are now coming to clinic to help some with CF, however, we believe that no one must be left behind in the search for a treatment that will help all, regardless of gene type. One of our founding members has cystic fibrosis and we also have friends and committee members who have a direct connection with CF. Having such a personal understanding of the condition means we as a group, know that research into finding a treatment for all is vital. New treatments are coming to clinics however around 10 percent of the CF population will be unable to benefit due to genetic mutations. Gene therapy has the ability to treat all, regardless of gene type. We also support other CF related campaigns when requested.
