The availability of mobility scooters at Hinchingbrooke Country Park for those with mobility issues helps make the Country Park accessible to people who might not otherwise visit.
The scooters are very well-used throughout the year by people with a variety of short and long term mobility problems, and other health issues. They have also proved invaluable for people at the end of their life, being able to come out and grab some fresh air on their ‘good days’.
The all-terrain Tramper make of scooters are robust machines, built to be used on rough uneven ground, so users can enjoy getting to areas of the country park that they would not otherwise be able to visit.
Why we need your help: The existing mobility scooters are getting a little unreliable and need replacing. The Friends group have already secured funding of £7,500 but are now seeking your help to raise another £7,500
Any donation you can make would be much appreciated; it will really help the people who rely on the scooters to get about the Park.
