This appeal was successful and has now closed.
This campaign has now closed as enough money was raised by donations and grants to purchase new scooters.
The availability of mobility scooters at Hinchingbrooke Country Park for those with mobility issues helps make the Country Park accessible to people who might not otherwise visit.
The scooters are very well-used throughout the year by people with a variety of short and long term mobility problems, and other health issues. They have also proved invaluable for people at the end of their life, being able to come out and grab some fresh air on their ‘good days’.
The all-terrain Tramper make of scooters are robust machines, built to be used on rough uneven ground, so users can enjoy getting to areas of the country park that they would not otherwise be able to visit.
