We want to provide local people, visitors, delivery drivers and people passing through our village with safe clean toilet facilities.
We caretake and clean the public toilet building in Aultbea and aim to keep it open every day of the year.
It costs us £12.15 per day to clean and maintain the loos.
Longer term we would like to renovate and modernise the building to provide better facilities including disabled access.
A donation of £12.15 will help keep these toilets clean and open for one day. Any donations over and above our daily operating costs will contribute towards our renovation fund.

Public toilets should be provided and managed by the Highland Council - they are a basic requirement for the local community and for the many visitors to our area. I don't want this facility to close.

Because clean public toilets are a necessity in order to help visitors to care for the local environment, rather than some of them using the countryside as a toilet, keeping the locality clean and hygienic: Clean public toilets feel like a welcome and encourage visitors to use the other local facilities. Since our first visit in 1992, I found that public toilets are an important asset for tourists and therefore should be maintained.
