GALE is an independent charity, owned and managed by its members, all of whom live in the remote, rural villages of the Gairloch and Loch Ewe area of Wester Ross in the north west Highlands of Scotland. It works to empower local people of all abilities, giving them a say over the things that matter to them and empowering them to shape the future of their own community and lives. GALE carries out social, economic and environmental projects that help to make the Gairloch and Loch Ewe communities a great place for people of all abilities to live, work and thrive.
