Since 2021, The Grand Avenue Primary & Nursery School and Grand Avenue School Parents Association (GASPA) have fundraised and volunteered hours of time towards the renovation and restocking of the whole school library. Together our aim is to inspire every child to develop a love of reading and become a confident, fluent, and independent reader, for both pleasure and information.  Our school library is a place where pupils can share and enjoy their love of reading, so now we would like to establish a long term dedicated fund aimed at maintaining a high quality, diverse and exciting range of books for our children to enjoy You can support the Grand Library fund with a one off donation, regular monthly donation or a special donation dedicated to a pupil at the school celebrating their birthday! We know reading for pleasure promotes a sense of wellbeing and calm. It can: • Help pupils feel they are not alone • Help pupils face things that are hard to talk about • Help pupils understand things they are unsure of  • Help pupils share worries with others • Help pupils relax and de-stress. If you can support our campaign, please either donate online or via text.  You can also set up a regular donation.
