Hampton has a thriving Music Society, which supports and enhances the School’s well-deserved reputation for musical excellence and diversity.

The Society assists the Music Department at concerts and provides financial assistance for music related projects. Membership is made up of parents of boys throughout the school, and is not exclusively for parents of boys who study and perform music of all kinds at the School. One of the most significant sources of our fundraising is the bar which the Society runs at the many and varied concerts and musical events held at the School. We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to help at the bar so so please do come and join us. The HSMS Committee meets twice a term and is also always keen to welcome new members – please join us at one of our meetings to see if this could be for you. We are particularly keen to find new members who have boys in the Lower School to provide continuity for the future. Volunteering to help at events or becoming a Committee member is not only hugely enjoyable, but will also give you an insight into the musical life of the School and of course support the Music Department and the boys. You will also get to meet parents from across the school.
